Mrunal Joins Sanjay Leela Bhansali Opposite Younger Hero Shockingly

Bollywood Television actress, turned silver screen heroine, Mrunal Thakur, is definitely ending 2025 on a high. She’s doing multiple movies in multiple industries, which include Telugu action film Dacoit with Adivi Sesh. There are whispers about her in Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone's movie is also going strong, and now, bam!, she’s signed a Bhansali film. Yup, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the one behind hits like Padmavat, Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Ram-Leela. Every actress dreams of this, and she’s actually doing it.

The film’s called Do Deewane Seher Mein, produced by Bhansali and directed by Ravi Udyawar. They announced it with a short social media clip: “Two hearts… one city… one incomplete love story.” The dreamy visuals, soft music, and little hints in the video scream romance. Mrunal plays Rosni, Siddhant Chaturvedi is Shashank. And yes, the first poster already has people talking, it’s kind of intimate, kind of playful, and a bit swoon-worthy.

A little twist, Mrunal is 33, Siddhant is two years younger, but you wouldn’t notice. Their chemistry in the poster looks too intense and cute kind like Genz; she’s lying on his hand, and he is hugging her from behind, making a complete love couple. Zee Studios and Bhansali Productions are backing it, and the movie is set to hit theaters on 20th February 2026.
