Mrunal Thakur Praises Telugu Cinema, Unlike Other Mumbai Girls

After cracking Tollywood with her maiden movie, Mrunal Thakur has made it big, we have to say. Though she has done umpteen movies and TV serials in Mumbai (Bollywood), nothing gave her the much needed break like the Telugu film ‘Sitharamam’ did to her. Since then, there is no looking back.

Unlike actresses who first act in Telugu movies and later go to Bollywood to make a mockery of Telugu movies, Mrunal Thakur has decided to stay loyal to the industry that gave her the breakthrough. In a recent conversation, she stated that forever in her life, she has been indebted to Sita Ramam and the Telugu film industry, as that changed even the way Bollywood looks at her.

After the success of Sita Ramam, she has appeared in Telugu movies like Hi Nanna and Family Star. That led her to sizzle opposite big guns in Bollywood, including Ajay Devgn’s Son of Sardar 2 and the upcoming film of Varun Dhawan, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, as well. She will be next seen in Adivi Sesh’s Dacoit in Telugu.
