No matter the language, if an actress scores a blockbuster, she is destined to get a lot of offers from filmmakers. A lot of heroines think that they should make full use of the craze they got after one film and go on a signing spree. In this process, they face multiple failures which ultimately leads to the actress fading away in no time. Krithi Shetty is a big example of this. After 'Uppena', she did 4-5 films within a year and none of them succeeded. Now, she is left with not many offers.

Sreeleela too followed the same route as 'Bhagavanth Kesari' is the only hit film this year while all other films ended up as disasters. All her hopes of survival lie in Mahesh Babu's 'Guntur Karam'. Both these actresses signed films that offered zero scope for acting and played eye candy roles. While Krithi Shetty has just reached her twenties, Sreeleela is also in a similar age bracket.

But this is where Mrunal Thakur's maturity is helping her. Even in Hindi, the 31-year-old always preferred roles that had substance barring a few. She made a stellar debut in Tollywood with 'Sita Ramam'. She won the hearts of everyone and was offered a lot of movies. But the actress waited for a year before arriving with 'Hi Nanna'. She was the biggest plus point of the movie and impressed the audience with her acting skills once again. She is selecting her scripts very carefully without accepting every film that comes her way.

She is now acting in 'Family Star' and this film is expected to be a clean entertainer from Deverakonda and Parasuram. There is a talk that she will play a key character in Chiranjeevi's 'Vashishta' too. She is in talks with a few other makers as well but is yet to confirm anything. Mrunal is going ahead with good planning while the young actresses preferred speed over quality which certainly affected them.
