Missed Many Movies Due to Kissing Scenes - Mrunal

Mrunal Thakur, who recently starred in the Telugu film "Family Star" alongside Vijay Deverakonda, has shed light on some challenges she faced early in her career. In a candid interview, Mrunal discussed the sensitive topic of kissing scenes and how her parents' initial disapproval impacted her work.

"As actors, it's our responsibility to portray the story authentically," Mrunal stated. "We should portray what the script demands. If we let fear hold us back and refuse to perform certain scenes, it hinders our growth as actors."

Mrunal went on to reveal, "In the beginning of my career, my parents weren't comfortable with me doing kissing scenes. Unfortunately, this led me to miss out on several film opportunities." She elaborated on how she eventually convinced her parents, explaining, "While filming, when the director calls for action, we have to embody the character we're playing. In that moment, I'm not Mrunal. It took some time, but eventually, my parents were able to understand this."

Mrunal's honesty about her experiences highlights the complex relationship between actors, their personal beliefs, and the demands of filmmaking. Her story sheds light on the sacrifices actors sometimes make for their craft and the evolving nature of on-screen intimacy in Indian cinema.
