Nag Ashwin's ambitious project 'Kalki 2898 AD' is all set to hit the screens on 9th May. As we know, Prabhas is playing the lead role while Deepika Padukone is the heroine. Amitabh Bachchan is doing an important role while Kamal Hassan is the main villain. Disha Patani is also a part of the movie. This shows the huge star cast involved in the movie. The expectations are sky high over this high-budget fictional drama set in a dystopian backdrop.

The latest we hear is the stunning beauty Mrunal Thakur who stole the hearts of everyone with her performance in movies like 'Sita Ramam' and 'Hi Nanna' is going to play a special cameo in this prestigious project. Though she will have limited screen time, the talented actress is reportedly going to leave a strong impact on the movie. 'Sita Ramam' is produced by 'Vyjayanthi Movies' who are producing 'Kalki 2898 AD' right now. Fans are excited about it and they are eager to see what role she plays in the movie.

Trusted sources confirmed that Malayalam star hero Dulquer Salman and Rowdy hero Vijay Deverakonda are doing special cameos in this project. Though it is not officially announced, the entire film industry is confident about it. The latest reports suggest that Natural Star Nani will also be playing a surprise cameo during the pre-climax portions. If these cameos are confirmed, there is no stopping this film and it will create a euphoria in theatres.

Santosh Narayanan is the music composer while Djordje Stojilijkovic is the director of photography. Ashwini Dutt is the movie's producer. Nag Ashwin is the director of this project. 'Kalki' is releasing on the same date as 'Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari's release in the 90s.
