Murari Stands Tall Among Re-released Films!

The trend of re-releases has taken over Tollywood. On special occasions, the iconic films of the stars are released in the remastered version. On the occasion of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s birthday cult classic Murari was re-released. It was Murari’s show in the re-releases given the numbers it had collected.

It is said that Murari stood tall among the re-released films in terms of the numbers. If we have to take anything from the reports then the film had collected over 7.4 crore rupees gross in just two days. The numbers are quite high for a re-release.

There was a lot of anticipation around the film’s release among fans. The theaters turned live concerts with fans dancing to songs. In a theatre a fan tied the knot when the marriage scene appeared on the screen.

Mahesh Babu fans are credited for starting the re-release trend as Pokiri was released on a special occasion. Other films also joined the list later. Fans of other stars also released the films on special occasions.

Now Murari collections have grabbed everyone’s attention. Earlier Pokiri also recorded good numbers and Murari went past the numbers and set up new records.

Murari is one of the hit films in Mahesh Babu’s career. Directed by Krishna Vamsi the film features Sonali Bendre as the leading lady. Supernatural elements and family emotions were blended beautifully in the hit film. The chemistry between the lead pair was the main highlight of the film. Muraru has a stellar cast.
