'800', which is heading to theatres on October 6, is one of the most prominent multi-lingual releases of the year. Sivalenka Krishna Prasad of Sridevi Movies, who owns the film's release rights across India, is upbeat about the emotional beats of the biopic. Director MS Sripathy has made an approved and official biopic after learning about Muralidaran's life and game for two years.

In his latest interview, actor Madhur Mittal suggests that donning the right look and looking like the legendary bowler was the first step in making a bona fide biopic. "From hairstyle to skin tone, my director meticulously took care of all aspects of my performance. I also thank our make-up team for their contributions," he says.

The actor also thanks his coach for helping him with cracking the bowling action. "I used to step into the ground every day after my work for a previous film was over. An old accident helped me in getting Muralidaran's style right," Mittal says.

"The film won't have fiction. It is a biopic and it is life itself. There is no drama. There is no documentary-style dullness either," Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, who took over the film recently, says.

'800', with music by Ghibran, will grace 1100 screens in India this Friday.
