Prabhas Unavailable, Ashwin Goes to Alia!

The first part of Kalki was a surprisingly big hit at the box office and ended up crossing over rupees thousand crore at the global ticket counters. Meanwhile, the discussion has been happening about the sequel for the film, which was already announced.

However, due to the unavailability of Prabhas, who is currently committed to multiple projects, this equal of Kalki is taking much longer than expected. In the meanwhile, it is being understood that Ashwin has decided to work on some other project in the meanwhile.

As we had reported earlier, the talented Director had already approached Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt with a female oriented subject, and we are hearing that he is going ahead with this prospect now.

Apparently, Nag Ashwin has prepared a solid script driven by a female character, and he wants to have Alia Bhatt playing this role in this film. After the tremendous success of Kalki, it is only natural that Alia also expresses interest in working with the talented Director and the same is happening now.

If everything goes as planned, then this could be the next project of Director Ashwin after the first part of Kalki, and once this is done, he could move back to Kalki 2 as Prabha will also be done with his commitments by then.

This is the lineup that is in consideration for the time being, and we have to see if Ashwin can actually impress Alia Bhatt with his final script, which is going to be the real challenge.
