The movie has already created curiosity because of its unique concept and the passion behind it. Even at the age of 94, Singeetam Srinivasa Rao is continuing his filmmaking journey with the same energy and creativity.
To promote the film in a different way, the team organized a special event for a deleted song called “Hello Basu.” Usually, deleted songs are not promoted in a grand manner, but the makers wanted to do something fresh and unusual. The song was sung by comedian Vamsi, and the event quickly grabbed attention on social media.
During the event, Nag Ashwin made some emotional and surprising comments. He said that Singeetam Srinivasa Rao has contributed a lot to Indian cinema over the years. According to him, producing this movie is a small way of giving back respect and support to such a legendary director.
Nag Ashwin also revealed an interesting fact about the story of “Sing Geetham.” He said that the story was narrated to Kamal Haasan even before the movie “Pushpaka Vimanam.” He explained that the story has been in Singeetam Srinivasa Rao’s mind for almost 40 years and that it is his dream project. These comments surprised many movie lovers and created even more interest around the film.
The director also spoke about music composer Devi Sri Prasad. Reporters asked why the song Hello Basu was removed from the movie even after so much hard work went into composing it. Nag Ashwin jokingly replied that Devi Sri Prasad is not talking to him properly after learning that the song was deleted and is not even answering his calls.
Reporters also tried to get an update about Kalki 2, starring Prabhas. However, Nag Ashwin avoided the topic in a funny way and did not reveal anything about the sequel.
Sing Geetham is scheduled to release in theatres on June 11. The teaser has already received a positive response, and audiences are excited to see another experimental film from Singeetam Srinivasa Rao.
