Nag Ashwin Jokes About Kalki 2, But That’s A Fact!

Talented director, Nag Ashwin created history with Kalki, which had Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. This film turned out to be a mega winner at the box office with ₹1200 crore gross.

Meanwhile, discussion is about the upcoming sequel for Kalki, which has been in discussion for a long time now, but did not actually materialize. Cut to now , Ashwin has provided an update on this project.

The talented director had revealed that the first part released when 3 to 4 planets had aligned with each other in the solar system. He has now jokingly added that the sequel could be releasing 7 to 8 planets in the solar system aligned together.

While this might come out as a joke from Ashwin in a very peculiar tone, this might actually turn out to be the reality as well. Firstly, Prabhas does not appear to be in a hurry to start the sequel for Kalki.

Considering the busy timeline of Prabhas and multiple projects that he has at hand, he is not likely to start working with Ashwin for the second part of Kalki, any time soon.

It perhaps needs to be said that this project could actually be materialising only when some sort of planetary alignment happens. This is largely due to the fact that the first part did not receive any sort of critical claim for good writing. It mostly bank on a positive release season and the final 10 minutes, which made up for the shabby writing all across the film.
