Delivered 1000 crore film but director still waiting!

Generally, when a big hero or a big Director deliver a mega blockbuster at the box office that goes on to generate our rupees thousand crore, they’re flooded with offers. But that is not the case with talented film maker, Nag Ashwin.

Ashwin had earlier delivered a mega blockbuster in the form of Kalki, which went on to gross over rupees thousand crore at the global box office and it is one of the cult blockbusters in recent times.

However, the issue has been with the fact that Ashwin was not able to materialise an immediate next project after this Prabhas film. The fact that he has no other project at hand, apart from this sequel of this film is a hard factor to digest, especially after the kind of blockbuster that he had delivered.

The talented Director would have been hoping to make films with top stars after delivering a blockbuster like Kalki, but that is not the case now.

The talented film maker is having to patiently wait for the availability of Prabhas to start the sequel of this project as he has no other options left. This wait must be frustrating for him, especially after witnessing the kind of success that he had delivered earlier year.

This could be partly due to the fact that the first part ran almost entirely due to the visual composition and the final climax rather than the brilliance through the storytelling process. The responsibility is now on Naga Ashwin to rectify this and deliver a winning film next.
