Director Nag Ashwin has finally spoken about the criticism surrounding his blockbuster film Kalki 2898 AD. Known for staying away from social media arguments, the filmmaker decided to respond after several online comments questioned the way the character of Karna was shown in the movie.

The director said that he has great respect for Indian history and mythology and understands the subject well.
