Naga Chaitanya Comments on ‘Honesty’ on Samantha’s Wedding Day

Samantha’s wedding with director Raj in Coimbatore became one of the biggest viral moments on social media. Fans were happy to see her start a new chapter in life and wedding photos quickly spread across the internet. On the same day, actor Naga Chaitanya’s new post on social media also went viral which created a lot of discussion among fans.

Many people were surprised because Chaitanya wrote about being “honest” in his caption. Since the post came out on Samantha’s wedding day, some fans wondered if he was reacting to her marriage. Social media users started asking why he posted such a message at that particular time.

However, the truth is completely different. Naga Chaitanya’s post had nothing to do with Samantha or her marriage. His message was about the completion of two years of his web series “Dhootha.” He shared a still from the series and expressed his gratitude to the audience.

In his post, Chaitanya wrote that when an actor chooses a good story and performs with honesty, viewers always appreciate it. He said “Dhootha” is a perfect example of that. According to him, the energy and support from the audience gave the entire team confidence. He also thanked everyone who worked with him on the series.

After the post went viral, many fans commented that “Dhootha” is one of their favourite series and asked for a second season soon. Some people, however, shifted the conversation to Chaitanya’s personal life and mentioned his past with Samantha, but the actor himself clearly focused only on his professional milestone.

“Dhootha,” directed by Vikram K. Kumar, was released on Amazon Prime Video on December 1, 2023. It is a horror-mystery thriller in which Naga Chaitanya plays journalist Sagar Varma Avadhani.

Right now, Naga Chaitanya is working on Vishwakarma, his 24th film, directed by Karthik Dandu. The movie is planned as a mythological thriller and the shooting is progressing at a fast pace.
