For 1st Time, A Hero Dominated Sai Pallavi

There is no debating the fact that Sai Pallavi is one of the most talented and widely reputed actresses in South Indian film industry. This is perhaps the reason why she was able to gain such a huge following, despite doing a limited number of films.

Usually, when a film of Sai Pallavi releases we get to see social media getting flooded with appreciation posts on the actress. This is mainly due to the immense acting potential that the actress possesses.

However, in the case of Thandel, Sai Pallavi had to take the backseat while Akkineni Naga Chaitanya led the charge. It was Chaitanya who walked away with all the appreciation posts and congratulatory messages after the release of the film.

Sai Pallavi did indeed deliver thumping performance in the film, and she delivered what was expected of her. But it was Naga Chaitanya, who came as a surprise package and delivered a standout performance.

Even if we go by the social media consensus, it appears that Chaitanya received wider appreciation and perhaps even dominated Sai Pallavi on screen. He was able to impress the wider section of the audience through his mature and improved performance.

All the while, Chaitanya was mostly seen in commercial and lighthearted roles. For the first time, he tried his hand at emotional, acting and played a very intense role in this film, which is perhaps the reason why everyone felt he delivered a stand out performance.

It is indeed fact that dominating Sai Pallavi on screen is a task much easier, said that and done. But with this film, Chaitanya was able to generate this perception through his brilliant act, and this could go down as one of the better compliments in his career thus far.
