Thandel surpasses Monday Test with good numbers

Yuvasamrat Naga Chaitanya Akkineni has delivered his career best performance in his recent epic romance, Thandel. The actor has worked hard to transform himself into a fisherman from Srikakulam for over one and half years. His dedication, commitment and performance have resulted in a huge success for the film. Chandoo Mondeti has directed the film with Bunny Vasu producing it and Allu Aravind presented it.

The movie took career best opening for the actor and throughout the weekend maintained the momentum collecting highest shares from Telugu states on Day 2 and Day 3 for any Tier-2 star hero movies. Now, many trade experts have been eager to see how the movie will perform on its first Monday.

As February is marked as a relatively dry month and films are not expected to collect huge numbers on weekdays that too after a huge weekend, the concentration has been even high. But Thandel surpassed the Monday Test with flying colors has 73.12K tickets have been sold on BMS for the day .

The movie has collected Rs.70 crores plus gross worldwide till date and it is expected to enter 100 crores club pretty soon. This will be the first 100 crore grosser for Chaitanya and the movie will achieve breakeven status all over in 2-3 days. Looking at the momentum movie could be biggest hit for TFI in Feb month, too.
