Vrushakarma.. When’s the Film Coming?

To make the success of his previous film, Tandel, much bigger, definitely Akkineni Naga Chaitanya needs a much bigger successful film as a follow-up. For the same, he has pinned all of his hopes on Vrushakarma, the big budgeted fantasy film. The movie is being directed by Virupaksha fame, Karthik Dandu. Though the VFX laced teaser of this film was out some time ago, the makers haven't confirmed their release date. He is what the murmurs from Film Nagar are like.

What started as a simple treasure hunt film featuring Naga Chaitanya and Meenakshi Choudhury in the lead roles has ended up as a big-budget visual effects bonanza. Perhaps that is the reason, both movie lovers and trade circuits have huge expectations on this movie. Though the whole of the shooting part got wrapped already, except for a few patchwork scenes, it's coming out that the VFX will take a huge time to get wrapped. Some reports are saying that Vrushakarma might hit the cinemas only after December.

However, finding a release date from December to March will be another daunting task for the movie. Though we have biggies like The Paradise and Toxic lined up for August, the following months, like September, October, and November, seem to be pretty easily findable release date situations for this Naga Chaitanya starrer. But if it gets pushed to December or January, then there are many other biggies that have already locked their slots, and Chaitanya will not be getting a free hand at the box office.
