Whether that is with films like Jersey or with movies like DJ Tillu or MAD, somehow a kind of Midas Touch worked out for his movies, and that made Naga Vamsi a sensational producer too. However, while his speeches started peaking later on for the controversial or satirical statements he puts up, somehow, 2025 has shown him stars.

Back in 2025, Naga Vamsi came up with his big-budget delayed film, Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom and then the routine-mass film, Raviteja’s Mass Jathara. Both ended up as disasters at the box office. Showcasing his love for Jr NTR, he acquired the WAR 2 Telugu release, but the film ended up as another massive flop. That way, the whole of 2025 became a nightmare for him.

Coming to 2026, his year started with Naveen Polishetty’s Anaganaga Oka Raju, and the film did well, though not to the extent of Vamsi’s claimed numbers on the posters. Later, he came up with Vishwaksen’s Funky, and that film hit the final nail in the coffin, as it ended up being another massive flop. However, it looks like the second half of 2026 changed his fortunes.

With Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin, Naga Vamsi is back on track, as the film genuinely worked out well at the box office. Then came Suriya’s Viswanath & Sons, which is working out better than expected. These two films helped the producer recover from the severe box office stroke he received in 2026.

And this year, he also has releases like Anand Devarakonda’s Epic in September, Ashok Galla’s Visa in October, as well as his uncle Radhakrishna’s film, Trivikram-Venkatesh’s Adarsha Kutumbam in the 1st week. If all those work, we can say Naga Vamsi is truly back.
