God Of War: Why Trolling Naga Vamsi?

Some enthusiasts on Twitter are right now trolling producer Naga Vamsi for the “God of War” poster, and joining these Tamil folks, some Telugu folks are also blasting the Telugu producer. Many are wondering why Naga Vamsi is getting trolled in this matter, because all the creative calls regarding the film are not taken by this producer in the first place. Here’s what’s happening.

Apparently, the “God Of War” poster has kicked up the hornet’s nest with the official handles of NTR Arts and other related social media handles posting that “He’s a god born in North.. and forgot in the heartland and ruled the South” something like that. Many Tamils got hurt. Because they consider Murugan, who is also known as Kumara Swamy or Subrahmanya Swamy, to be a God born in Tamil, and belonging to the Tamil people alone. Perhaps that’s the reason we see a lot of Kumara Swamy temples in Tamil Nadu or in places like Malaysia, where there are lots of Tamils. Now calling him a ‘North Born’ has hurt folks. However, what does Naga Vamsi have to do with this?

Naga Vamsi will be the acting producer for the film as his ‘uncle’ is the main producer, but it’s director Trivikram who will be taking all the creative calls, while Jr NTR will be giving approvals. So what has Naga Vamsi to do with any agenda around Lord Murugan is something only the detractors and trolls should understand first.
