Talented producer, Naga Vamsi is currently awaiting the theatrical release of his upcoming film Kingdom, which is releasing in theatres on July 31. Ahead of the same, he is actively promoting the film and has sat in front of the media for a latest interview.

In this context, Vamsi made a very bold statement as he acknowledged that all the Twitter hype and also the BookMyShow ratings and interests are generated entirely from the production side.

This is my honest appeal to the audience. Please do not believe in the reviews and also the Twitter and BookMyShow hype generated. We are the ones who orchestra most of it in order to bring the audience to the theatre. My only honest appeal to the audience is to come to the theatre and watch the film and judge it for yourself rather than you believe in the hype and film reviews, Vamsi stated.

Vamsi stated that producers are now in a position where they are obliged and compelled to spend big money on building hype and also creating artificial interests and reviews for films.

This all statement from Vamsi comes in the context of the fact that there were several recent Telugu films which had generated false hype through Twitter narratives and BookMyShow ratings. However, he confirmed that the producers guild has also collectively decided to stop feeding these BookMyShow reviews henceforth.

This comes sharply after another producer, Dil Raju recently confirmed that producers are paying big money to generate YouTube views and likes for their promotional material.
