Producer Says Don’t Expect Story, Logic From His Film

Talented young producer, Naga Vamsi, who has been operating Sithara Entertainments has quickly become a household name for commercial success in Tollywood. The next big release from his production house is Mad Square

Speaking at a promotional event of the film yesterday, Naga Vamsi made a very interesting comment.

Vamsi stated that people must come to watch this film in theatres only for the sake of laughs and humour. He clearly instructed the ticket paying public and also the media reviewers not to indulge in storytelling or craft of the film as he said people should not expect story and logic from such comedy entertainers.

Vamsi was very bold with his statement where he said people must not expect story and logic from this film. This is very much a clever and sensible stage setting for the film. By the looks of the teaser, this film is going to be a slapstick comedy much like the first part and Vamsi has done the right thing by preparing the audience to come to theatres only for humour and comedy, but not for story or visual craft.

This surely is one clever way of marketing the film in order to avoid any false expectations or fabricated setting. The young producer appears to have mastered this art. And on top of that, he even reprimanded his director, Kalyan Shankar when he said the film is going to be a blockbuster. He said directors must always refrain from making such comments at film events.
