Naga Vamsi Admits Even He Can't Afford Multiplex Food Prices

Kingdom producer Naga Vamsi recently spoke about the high prices of food and drinks in multiplexes. He shared that even he finds the prices for popcorn and cool drinks expensive. In a recent interview, Naga Vamsi mentioned that he paid more than 1,200 rupees for two popcorns and two drinks.

He admitted that these prices are very high and that he can’t do much about it. He said, "We can ask only a few multiplexes but those national chains will not agree. In such cases, we can do nothing, and the government alone can bring change."

The rising prices are one of the reasons why families avoid going to the movies. With tickets costing around 200 rupees per person and expensive food and drinks, it becomes too costly for families. Many prefer to watch films at home through OTT platforms instead of going to theatres.

Naga Vamsi’s comments show how serious the issue is. Even producers like him are feeling the impact of high prices at multiplexes.
