Nagabandham is being appreciated by audiences everywhere - Virat Karrna

Abhishek Nama envisioned an epic visual spectacle based on Indian history and mythology, Nagabandham. The movie stars Virat Karrna, Nabha Natesh in leading roles and it is produced on a gigantic budget. Post release, the movie received mixed response from critics but audiences have been going to theatres to watch it.

It has been trending even on a Monday and hence, makers NIK Studios have conducted a Gratitude Meet. At the event, Virat Karrna looked effected by negative comments. He said, "I am thankful for audiences who watched our film in theatres. We are shocked to see such negativity about our film and people asking not to watch. My request to everyone to kindly, not make such statements. Let people decide what they want to watch and it is heartening to see people ignoring such reviews."

Abhishek Nama explained that he is shocked by the paid negativity as people started posting about their film on 2nd July itself when the movie released on 3rd July. He commented that in our Indian history there are many instances of invaders looting temples and he showed on the screen.

He said, "I did not create anything that is untrue. I did take liberties in writing a story around many facts. Many invaded India and hurt Indian culture. I am disappointed when people say, I tried to create that. Anyways, I am a one film old director and I might have made mistakes, we rectified some issues by trimming the film. Please watch the movie in theatres and encourage us." The movie is holding well in theatres with good occupancies.
