Nagarjuna Picks Up Quality Actresses Over Glam Girls

One of the most unsaid things right now in Tollywood is none other than senior star Akkineni Nagarjuna’s 100th film. Being directed by Tamil filmmaker Ra Karthik, whose recent film Made In Korea was released on Netflix, this 100th film of Nag is currently leakproof of any details. The star hero wants to complete the total shooting of the movie, and once the post-production gets over, he might release an announcement about the film’s commencement, is what insiders are saying.

Though Nagarjuna’s 100th project is being silently made under Ra Karthik’s direction, it’s coming out that the casting details of it are going to be quite interesting. Reports are doing rounds that there are three heroines in the movie, including senior starlet Tabu, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Kannada beauty Sushmitha Bhatt. Rather than roping in those starlets who are very beautiful and glamorous, Nagarjuna got performers on board, if we look at the names. In his previous films, while some hot and happening beauties used to take the leading lady’s role, right now it looks like Nagarjuna is looking only at performers.

Tabu will be playing a guest role as per the reports, and after crossing her prime, she has picked up intense roles that are performance-centric. At the same time, Aishwarya Rajesh is known for her intense performances, and that would be quite a game-changing project for the Sankranthiki Vastunnam heroine. Similarly, with her debut Kannada film, Sushmitha Bhatt proved herself big time by grabbing lots of awards. So we have to see the kind of roles designed for them in Nag’s 100th, and how Nagarjuna's role itself is going to be amidst all of these talented beauties.
