Out With Jack! Nag Brings Him Back?

Even though some bad films turn out to be cults later and that’s how the likes of Sukumar and Tirivikram are respected for their 1-Nenokkadine and Khaleja, it doesn’t happen in everyone’s case. For some directors, that bad film is purely bad, and it kicks them out.
Almost 20 years ago, director Bhaskar has made a film like Bommarillu and won appreciation. Later, he came up with Ram Charan’s Orange, which flopped but became a cult over time for its songs and some scenes. However, rather than building good on that foundation, Bhaskar made a dud movie like “Jack”, a spy comedy with Siddhu Jonnalagadda. Forget about the film being a low-end remake of Akhil’s Agent; the result is so bad that Bhaskar didn’t even get time to pitch stories to some Tier-2 heroes later.
Reports are now coming that none other than Nagarjuna Akkineni has called him to direct his 101st film. Inspired by a European film, like how he got the story of Manmadhudu 2 carved, Nag got another story developed and took Bhaskar aboard to handle the rest of the stuff, says a source. After wrapping his 100th film under the direction of Ra Karthik, Nagarjuna will be moving to this project under Bhaskar’s direction.
