What Convinced Nagarjuna To Do Coolie?

It is already known that Akkineni Nagarjuna is currently busy with the promotional campaign of Coolie. While the film is preparing for its release on August 14, the promotional campaign is happening in full flow now.

The latest news is that Nagarjuna has spoken about the kind of factors that came into play and propelled him to do Coolie in the first place.

The veteran actor revealed that he got bored by playing repetitive roles again and again, and had to try out something new. This was precisely when Nagarjuna was excited about the idea of playing the antagonist in this superstar, Rajinikanth film.

“Ideally speaking, I had always wanted to work with Anirudh and Director Lokesh Kanagaraj. And when I got to know that Lokesh has prepared an antagonist role for me, it excited me instantly. It was something out of the ordinary, and I could challenge myself as an actor with the same. Lokesh used to give random references to my character, and I instantly loved all of them.” Nagarjuna said.

It is evident that Nagarjuna got excited by the project as he got to try something out of his comfort zone, and this is what is working brilliantly for this film now.

Even Lokesh had revealed that he personally is a big fan of Nagarjuna and used to absolutely enjoy his films in theatres back in the day.
