Nagarjuna filed a petition saying his photos and videos are being misused online. He told the court that AI is being used to create obscene content and morph his image for paid promotions. YouTube videos, social media posts, all carrying his name and hashtags, are being circulated without permission. He stressed that this is damaging both his personal dignity and professional standing.
His lawyer Anand explained that people are openly doing business in Nagarjuna’s name with fake AI material. Justice Tejas Kariya, who heard the matter, remarked that misuse of AI is now a serious digital problem. He said orders will be passed to ensure protection for the actor.
Nagarjuna is not the only one. In recent months, Many celebrities have also raised similar complaints. All of them argue that their image rights are being violated. With stars queuing up before the court, the pressure to control AI misuse in India’s entertainment world is only growing stronger.
