Even after 36 years, Shiva felt like watching a new film - Nag

King Nagarjuna has created history with cult classic film, Shiva, Pan-India. Ram Gopal Varma burst out on to the scene with the film as a debutant and overnight, he became a sensational director to look out for. Now, after 36 years of its release, the movie is being re-released with 4k upgradation and Dolby Atmos sound.

Nagarjuna and RGV interacted with press after a special show and the reactions were phenomenal with each one praising the freshness in frames, sound quality and technical brilliance in restoring the essence of the film. Nagarjuna stated that he himself felt as if he is watching a new film when he saw it recently.

He stated that the nostalgic memories that the movie generated is mind-blowing and over-whelming for him. RGV admitted that they cannot re-create any scene or shot even in recent times. He stated that he is also mesmerized by the taking and expressed shock at how he asked Nagajuna to do such risky stunts without dupes.

Nag and RGV commonly stated that they wanted to give respect to Ilaiyaraaja's original score and did not change any bit, but converted monotrack to multi-track with the help of AI. They have confirmed that some songs have been removed but added at the end for fans to watch them. Shiva is re-releasing on 14th November.
