Nagarjuna Taking Over Projects Of Chay & Akhil?

Senior star Nagarjuna Akkineni is known for involving in the projects of his sons, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil, during the post-production phases of the film, giving some advice on Editing, Marketing, and Release-date planning, kinds of stuff. But these days, it is coming out that the senior star is actually overtaking the production of those movies.

Lenin was first produced by Sithara Entertainment, and later Annapurna Studios took over as a co-producer. Now comes Dhootha, a webseries funded by Amazon and produced by Pawan Kalyan’s close friend Sarath Marar, but now, Annapurna Studios has joined as a co-producer of the film. Many say that Nagarjuna Akkineni is literally taking over every project of Chay and Akhil in the same way, such that he could oversee the quality and creativity aspects of those projects.

Reports are coming out as both Chay and Akhil are also showcasing lots of interest towards their father’s involvement in the projects, so naturally, that comes to Annapurna Studios taking the load. As most of the production and post-production also happens at Annapurna facilities, surely this partnership is likely to bring some advantage to the projects as well.

Meanwhile, Akhil’s Lenin is hitting cinemas on June 26th, and Nagarjuna is betting high on that film after Sithara Entertainment felt that the content has turned out to be routine action fare.
