How Much Is Nag Ashwin Taking For 'Kalki 2898 AD'?

Nag Ashwin has created a name for himself in Tollywood with his unique brand of films. He just made two movies but the stories he told and the manner in which he narrated them were nothing short of amazing. He has all the qualities to be a special director in Tollywood for the next two decades. He is now making one of the biggest projects ever made in this country.

With Rebel Star Prabhas as the hero, he is making a futuristic movie titled 'Kalki 2898 AD'. It is being mounted on a grand budget and he has divided the story into two films. The first part is expected to release in the next couple of months. His first film 'Yevade Subramanyam' and the next one 'Mahanati' are both produced under Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema banners. Ashwini Dutt and his daughter Swapna & Priyanka are the producers. They got good profits and huge critical acclaim out of these two films.

Even 'Kalki 2898 AD' is being produced by them and they are going all out for this project. For the first two films, Nag Ashwin took remuneration. In 2015, he got married to Ashwini Dutt's daughter Priyanka Dutt after loving her. Despite the offers form other banners, he is working under his wife's and father-in-law's production house. It looks like he has taken the responsibility of taking this prestigious banner to the next level.

Ashwini Dutt also has a lot of trust in his son-in-law and it is why he is spending over 500 crores on this massive project. Now, the remuneration of Nag Ashwin for this movie has become a hot topic. Reports suggest that the producers spent around 250 crores just for the remunerations of Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani and other technicians.

Sources say that Nag Ashwin will not be getting any remuneration. Apparently, he is going to take a share in the profits. If things work out, Nag Ashwin will be getting a huge sum of 50 crores and it may increase even more if the movie gets massive profits as everyone is expecting. Nag Ashwin may end as the highest-paid director after Rajamouli if 'Kalki 2898 AD' becomes successful.
