It grossed over 275 crores in the Hindi market as well and overtook the lifetime Hindi collections of 'RRR'.

The grand canvas stunned everyone and Nag Ashwin's vision paired with stellar performances have impressed the audience big time. The Mahabharat scenes were a big surprise and the successful run of this film is continuing even now as there are no other big releases. As we know, the director left the film with a cliffhanger and announced 'Part 2'. Fans are already hyped about 'Kalki 2' and the makers have already shot a few portions of it.

Do you know how the makers decided to split the story of 'Kalki' into two parts? Nag Ashwin recently revealed it by showcasing the photo of a chit that has '2' written on it. He said, “The scientific and rational method we chose to make Kalki into two parts.” Many were surprised to know that such a huge decision involving hundreds of crores was taken through playing chits.

This got everyone laughing and it shows what kind of a person Nag Ashwin really is. Ashwini Dutt spent over 600 crores and Santosh Narayanan gave the music. Nag Ashwin revealed that around 60% of the story is left to tell in the second part and there will be more drama and action in it. There will be a second part for 'Kalki' and fans are curious to see what happens next. Prabhas is seen as Bhairava while Amitabh played the role of Ashwatthama. Kamal Haasan as Supreme Yashkin is the main villain while Deepika Padukone played Sumathi in the film.
