Is Nag Ashwin Leaving 'Kalki' Behind?

We have recently seen the prestigious production banner AVM Studios releasing a poster which says that they are looking for associate directors based in Hyderabad for a new project. In the mail id, it is mentioned as 'Project S' which surprised everyone. Nag Ashwin's name being attached to it also raised a lot of questions. People are eagerly waiting for the second part of 'Kalki'.

'Project S' is reportedly completely different as the Vyjayanthi banner will not handover 'Kalki' responsibility to another banner. We have recently seen top director Prasanth Neel too focusing on his next film with NTR and keeping 'Salaar 2: Shouryangaparvam' aside. Fans are constantly asking for 'Salaar 2' but Prasanth Neel is more interested in NTR's film at the moment.

Many are worrying that 'Kalki 2' will also face the same fate if Nag Ashwin gets busy with 'Project S'. Also, 'Kalki' needs a huge star cast involving Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Dulquer Salman, Deepika Padukone and many others.

Prabhas is busy with 'Raja Saab' right now and he is going to start Hanu Raghavapudi's film soon. Also, there is Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Spirit' which is expected to start next year. Prabhas decided to arrive with two films per year and he is planning accordingly. We need to wait and see if 'Kalki 2' happens anytime soon or it gets delayed as expected.
