It has been a known fact that Guntur Kaaram has remained in the spotlight ever since its shooting began, with reports of various changes being made to the film. However, until now, no one had openly addressed these speculations. Finally, the producer Naga Vamsi has come forward to provide some much-needed clarity on the situation.

Producer Naga Vamsi is currently busy promoting his upcoming film, MAD, which will mark the Telugu debut of Narne Nithin, Junior NTR's brother-in-law. During this promotional interview, he also spoke about his upcoming venture Guntur Kaaram. Naga Vamsi addressed the controversies surrounding the film. When questioned about reports stating that Mahesh Babu insisted on Pooja Hegde and Thaman's removal from the project, he shed some light on the situation.

In response, the producer expressed his suprise at the media's intense interest in Guntur Kaaram. Talking about the changes made in film, producer clarified that they had never considered including Thaman in the project. As for Pooja Hegde, he explained that the film's production had slowed down as they were aiming for a Sankranthi release, and since Pooja had committed to a Bollywood project with fixed dates, they had to part ways with her.

When asked about the film's Sankranthi release, he expressed surprise, questioning why media still has doubts, especially considering that Trivikram and Mahesh were working on the fast mode for the film.

Regarding the shift in the film's storyline from action to another genre, Naga Vamsi clarified that Guntur Kaaram was, in fact, an action film still yet. He assured fans that everything they expect from a Trivikram film during the festive season, including high-octane action and entertainment, would be delivered in Guntur Kaaram.
