Balakrishna Rejects Top Offers - What’s His Next Move?
Like a lion that picks its battles, Nandamuri Balakrishna seems to know exactly when to roar and when to stay quiet.

These days, every big hero is popping up in cameos or quick guest roles just to keep their name going, but Balayya doesn’t seem interested in that game. He’s always been unpredictable, and once again, he’s said no to a couple of big offers that most actors would jump at without thinking twice.
Right now, the man’s plate is full. Akhanda 2 is happening, and Gopichand Malineni’s mass film is gearing up for shoot. Still, what’s got everyone talking is how he turned down not one but two biggies, Andhra King Taluka with Ram, and Jailer 2 with Rajinikanth. Mythri Movie Makers even offered him a fat paycheck for Andhra King Taluka, but he just walked away. Later, the makers brought in Kannada star Upendra to fill that spot.
Then there’s Jailer 2. Word is, Balayya was almost on board but backed out quietly for reasons nobody’s spilling. The buzz now says Fahadh Faasil grabbed that role instead. Fans are scratching their heads, why would he pass on two high-profile films like that? Maybe he’s saving himself for something bigger, or maybe he’s just following his gut, as he usually does.
And here’s the fun bit, talk around the film circles is that Balakrishna might make a special appearance in his son Nandamuri Mokshagna Teja’s debut movie. If that’s true, it’s going to be a proud moment more than a career move. For now, we’ll wait and see what Balayya’s planning next, whatever it is, it’s bound to be loud and unexpected.
