The 56th International Film Festival of India, IFFI, has decided to felicitate God of Masses Nandamuri Balakrishna for completing 50 glorious years in Indian Cinema as a leading man. His received Padma Bhushan this year for his contribution to Cinema and philanthropy activities, as well.





Organised by NFDC and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, is set to celebrate Balayya's historic milestone for Telugu cinema. He will be honored during the spectacular opening ceremony of the event on 20th November.

The actor’s unparalleled contribution spans over 100 films across five decades, earning him three Nandi Awards and a reputation for powerful screen presence and mass appeal. The felicitation will occur in the presence of global filmmakers, dignitaries, and cinema enthusiasts.

The recognition stands as a proud moment for Telugu cinema, honouring Balakrishna, who also continues his late father NT Rama Rao's legacy. Through his exemplary service oriented nature he continues serve as Chairman of Basava Tarakaram Cancer Hospital and MLA of Hindupur, in his third consecutive term.
