Inside Talk: Sujeeth Focusing On #OG2, Not Bloody Romeo?
Though he has built a reputation for constantly moving from one project to another, this time it looks like his most costly film is going to eat away more time.
By: Shanaz B Syed | 7 May 2026 1:38 PM ISTNani is currently one of the most dependable stars in Telugu cinema. Whenever he comes up with a film, irrespective of the reviews, it makes money at the box office. Both Hi Nanna and HIT 3 proved it, as both films got slammed by critics, but worked out well. Though he has built a reputation for constantly moving from one project to another, this time it looks like his most costly film is going to eat away more time.
No doubt, the postponement of The Paradise from its March 2026 release has stunned many, but the makers are hopeful that they will not miss the August 21st date. However, the film, being directed by Srikanth Odela, has become much bigger in scale than initially planned in this process. Currently, the team doesn’t want to compromise on quality, and hence some schedules are getting extended. It’s coming out that the movie might miss its August 2026 release, too. And now that is creating a chain reaction, if reports are to be believed.
One of the crazy-sounding projects that Nani signed is none other than #OG director Sujeeth Reddy’s film, Bloody Romeo. The Sujeeth directorial had already generated huge curiosity purely based on the title and combination. But now industry buzz suggests the film may get delayed hugely because Nani’s dates are fully locked for The Paradise. Reports say that instead of sitting idle, Sujeeth is shifting focus toward #OG sequel discussions and script work involving Pawan Kalyan.
And honestly, that makes sense too. Because with #OG becoming a theatrical storm, #OG 2 instantly becomes one of the hottest projects in the industry. Naturally, Sujeeth would want to lock that script strongly while waiting for Nani’s availability. However, which film he will start first is the question then.
