After Vijay, Nani Reveals Shocking First Salary

Vijay Deverakonda’s revelation about his first salary of just ₹500 for Life Is Beautiful shocked his fans, but now Nani has one-upped him with a story that has left his followers even more stunned.

While promoting HIT 3, Nani took a trip down memory lane and shared a fascinating detail about his early days in the industry. He started off as an apprentice and clap assistant for the film Radha Gopalam, and later worked as an assistant director for Allari Bullodu. However, his first salary didn’t come easy. Nani recalled how he was told there would be no pay as an apprentice, but after the shoot wrapped up, he was handed a cheque for ₹2,500, which he hoped to deposit with the others.

But when he went to cash it, he learned the cheque had bounced. “The producer had some issues, and I didn't feel like asking about it. I just kept it aside, knowing it wasn’t going to work,” he shared. The real twist came when he received his first proper salary as an assistant director on Allari Bullodu ₹4,000. But even then, he had his doubts and asked for cash instead. The producer handed him stacks of ₹100 notes. “I saved up for four months and bought rings for my parents,” Nani revealed with a smile.
