Instead, the team woke up to a shock, the entire film was already online. The production house panicked, thinking someone from their own staff had betrayed them. For weeks, they quietly questioned people and tried to figure out how the movie slipped out before it even reached theatres.
But things took a sharp turn after iBomma’s Immadi Ravi was arrested. During the investigation, he admitted the leak didn’t come from any employee. It was him. Hyderabad Police later explained that HIT 3 was uploaded nearly 18 hours before its theatrical release, and not in some blurry, shaky print, it was the crisp original-quality version straight from hacked servers. No wonder the team had no clue how it escaped.
Yesterday, police finally confirmed the full method. Ravi had hacked the servers directly and pushed the movie onto the site. Just like that. And while it caused chaos at the time, the film didn’t collapse at the box office. Somehow it held its ground and collected around Rs 120 crores worldwide, which still feels wild considering the leak drama.
Right now, Nani isn’t dwelling much on the past leak mess. He’s busy shooting two films, The Paradise with Srikanth Odela, aiming for a March 2026 release, and another one titled Nani x Sujeeth.
