Nani has always carried that easy charm of a boy-next-door hero. People still remember him from Ninnu Kori, Middle Class Abbayi, Nenu Local, all those soft, feel-good romantic films that turned into cult favorites over time. Recently he switched gears a bit, trying action with HIT: The Third Case, and fans actually enjoyed seeing that different shade. He’s also busy with his upcoming mass action thriller The Paradise. But now, there’s some good news for those who miss the old “Natural Star” vibe.

Latest buzz says Nani is stepping back into a classic love story very soon. And the interesting part is the director. Prem Kumar, the man behind heartfelt films like 96 and Satyam Sundaram, is said to be handling this project. Nani has always been a big fan of Satyam Sundaram, he even praised Prem Kumar heavily when the film came out. Recently, Prem Kumar narrated a fresh romantic script to him, and Nani apparently liked it instantly and gave his approval.

Apart from The Paradise, Nani also has another film lined up with director Sujith. So his schedule is already packed. Even then, he seems excited to make space for this love story, which itself says something about the script. Fans who loved his soft, emotional roles are already hoping this one brings back that old Nani charm.

If all goes as planned, the romantic film might go on floors around mid-2027. Still a bit far, but with Nani and Prem Kumar teaming up, the expectations are already building
