After 'Evade Subramanyam' in 2015, Nani's fate turned and he scored one commercial hit after another. With films like 'Ninnu Kori', 'Nenu Local' and 'MCA' turning out to be commercially successful, Nani's market increased even more. He reportedly took 18 crores for 'Jersey'. He took only 15 crores for 'V' which arrived during lockdown and he did the same with 'Tuck Jagadish' too. After the theatres reopened, he started charging 18 crores again for films like 'Ante Sundaraniki' and 'Shyam Singha Roy'.
