Trade Talk: 'The Paradise' Might Miss The Mark
A rumour is being heard that all the August 2026, targeting films are actually heading for a massive reshuffle.
By: Shanaz B Syed | 27 May 2026 4:05 PM ISTApparently, when films like Yash’s Toxic and Ramcharan's Peddi are getting postponed, there was buzz that even Nani's upcoming big-budget rustic film, The Paradise, will also get a release date change. However, after pushing out the film from its March release to August 21, the makers have confirmed Time and again that they're not going for any release change and everything is on track as planned. Here are some of the latest gossips being heard in Film Nagar regarding the films, a possible release date change again.
A rumour is being heard that all the August 2026, targeting films are actually heading for a massive reshuffle. Sam say that Yash’s Toxic might hit cinemas only in September, but not in August as planned now. On the other hand, Nani’s The Paradise might go for a Dasara release in October, but not in August, and that will definitely pave the way for Surya’s Vishwanath and Sons movie, which is being produced by Sithara Entertainment to make it up for the August 15 Independence week slot. Otherwise, Surya's film is actually set for a July release.
Due to huge casting and much delayed shooting schedules, or due to pending VFX works, or due to finance issues or for the fact that OTT platforms are not offering good deals these days even for big-budget films, many Telugu movies are getting postponed indefinitely. And these postponements surely affect the small movies that are planning their promotions around these big films, but finding the right dates in the right gaps. Now, if a biggie gets postponed, all this planning of small films gets affected. For now, let’s hope these rumours about The Paradise are not true.
