Nani's Hits Showing Their Strength In SIIMA & Filmfare Nominations!

Natural star Nani had a stellar 2023 with 'Dasara' and 'Hi Nanna'. Nani's showcased his prowess by impressing with his mass role as well as class acting in these flicks. 'Dasara' is an intense action drama that is made on a high budget and it turned out to be one of the biggest successes of 2024. His portrayal of a raw character left everyone in awe.

Nani's versatility was proven with 'Hi Nanna' where he was quite subtle with his portrayal of emotions. It was also a good commercial success. It was selected in a couple of international film festivals too. It is these two films which got nominated heavily in both SIIMA and Filmfare awards. 'Hi Nanna' was nominated for 10 SIIMA awards and 9 FilmFare Awards.

On the other hand, 'Dasara' received 11 nominations at SIIMA and 8 nominations at FilmFare Awards. Srikanth Odela made his debut with this film and Nani should be appreciated for putting trust in a new director while 'Hi Nanna' was also made by a debutant named Shouryuv. Both these filmmakers got nominated in the best director category.

While Keerthy Suresh played the heroine in Dasara, Mrunal Thakur was the leading lady in Hi Nanna. Both these heroines also received nominations. It's a great triumph for Nani to receive so many nominations in major awards in a single calendar year. Currently, Nani is working on 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' which is going to be released on 29th August. Vivek Athreya is the director of this film.

He also announced a movie with Srikanth Odela once again. Looks like Nani is enjoying the best form of his life at the moment and may this continue for a longer period.
