Nani's Unparalleled Way Of Selecting Directors!

Natural Star Nani scored two super hits last year in the form of 'Dasara' and 'Hi Nanna'. They are films which are in complete contrast with each other. While 'Dasara' is a rustic mass action drama, 'Hi Nanna' is a classy emotional film. Nani is known for his unique storylines and he doesn't mind saying 'No' to a big director if the story doesn't convince him.

Nani was approached for TJ Gnanavel's film with Rajnikanth. He was offered an important role but he did not do it knowing that he may not get enough screen space due to the presence of big names like Rajni and Amitabh Bachchan. He liked the story narrated by 'Don' fame Cibi Chakravarthy and brought him to Hyderabad as well. After working with the director and his writers, Nani saw the final version and reportedly did not okay the huge budget the director demanded. Though this is not official news, it is what the insiders are gossiping about right now.

'Balagam' Venu is trying his best to get a nod from Nani. With Dil Raju as the producer, he managed to get an 'okay' from Nani in terms of the storyline according to reports. Nani did not commit to any film other than 'Saripodha Sanivaram' with Vivek Athreya. He realized that proper planning does not give him any flops and it is why he is being careful about every aspect of the script. While Nani may not reject Dil Raju who gave hits to him like 'MCA' and 'Nenu Local', Nani may not accept the story on blind faith. Srikanth Oodela is preparing the script for Nani right now and there are reports of Trivikram Srinivas planning a movie with Venkatesh and Nani as the main leads.
