Ooru Peru Bhairavakona starring Sandeep Kishan as the lead is all set to hit the screens soon. The film is carrying a lot of expectations as talented filmmaker VI Anand helmed the project. Ahead of its release, the film faced a big blow as a complaint was filed to stop the certification.
Telugu Film Producers Council Joint Secretary Natti Kumar had filed the complaint. In his complaint that was filed with the Central Board Of Film Certification in Mumbai, he sought the cancellation of the certification of the film. He even complained against the regional CBFC office in Hyderabad.
The complaint Natti Kumar has is that the tickets for Ooru Peru Bhairavakona were made available on BookMyShow even before the certificate was given. He even said that as per the rules, the film date should not be announced before the certification.
The producer also took strong objection to tickets made available for sale. Having raised the objection, he sought action and requested a probe into this matter.
Natti Kumar also asked why the certification was given prior to the applied date when many pictures were waiting for the censor. He even said that if the Regional office was found responsible for this then action should be initiated against them.
Natti Kumar even cited the example of the recent film Yatra 2 and said that even for the film the release date was campaigned largely even before the censor was done.
Highlighting the process to get a sensor, Natti Kumar said that once they applied for the certificate they had to wait for a few days. Talking of the difference between small producers and big producers, Natti Kumar said that big producers will get certificates easily and these developments pain him as a producer.
