There Are Different Emotions In My Character: Navdeep

After a brief gap, talented actor Navdeep is making a comeback as the hero with 'Love, Mouli'. The makers claim that it is a new version of the 'Chandamama' hero. It is a new-age love story which is written, directed and edited by Avaneendra who worked under SS Rajamouli. Nyra Creations and Srikara Studios banners have jointly produced this movie and the movie has been given 'A' certificate. Ahead of the release, Navdeep talked to the media and shared many excerpts about the film.

He said, “When my career started, it went at a jet speed. I did films in a row. After that, I did all kinds of roles. Now, I know what people think about me. When there was a change in the way they thought about me, it felt like I too needed to change. That's why I also wanted to change my career according to their idea about me.”

He added, “'Love, Mouli' came my way at such a juncture. I transformed myself in every way for this movie. Even my friends understood my quest and produced this film. I told the story to hero Rana Daggubati for fun. Saying that the story is good, Rana played an important role as Aghora in this movie. Rana really doesn't need to do this role. He played the role because of his friendship with me.”

Talking about the picturisation, he stated, “the shoot was done in Cherrapunji. It was such a big adventure, taking a lot of effort. We shot with passion in that place whenever it rained. For two and a half years, I was in that same get-up. We all worked hard for the film. It must be said that making the movie was an adventure. This is not a regular love story. This movie gives a new experience to everyone. There is no routine in this movie. This movie will connect with everyone.”

He praised the director and spoke about his character as well. He said, “I completely trusted the director. I only took care of my getup and nothing else.. There are different emotions in my character in this film. Couples, and newly married people will relate to the movie. Pankhuri Gidwani was selected for the role of the heroine after considering many others. The girl fits the character perfectly. The director did not compromise anywhere until he found the right artist for the role he wanted.”

Govind Vasantha composed music for this film. He revealed, “Background music is the highlight of this movie. He has given excellent songs and background music which elevate each scene. The background music brought life to this movie. There are many love stories in my real life. I have loved different people since I was 23 years old. The story of this movie is very personal that way. The director of the movie also has his personal experiences in this movie. It is close to his thinking.”

Talking about his next projects, he said, “Along with the New Sense 2 web series, I am doing a film in Tamil with Nithya Menon. Along with this, some other web series are ready for release. From now on, I want to come out with good stories as a solo hero. The choice of my next film will depend on the response to 'Love, Mouli'. I want to do an entertainer with Director Avaneendra.” The movie is hitting the screens on 7th June.
