Upset Telugu Star Banks Towards Tamil Flavour

In Tollywood, there will be many breakout stars, but few of them actually create a long-lasting impact with their unmatchable acting prowess. Some impress with their dialogue delivery and energy. The one belonging to the second category is none other than Naveen Polishetty. For his terrific one-liners, impeccable comedy timing and amazing screen presence, he got noticed, and his films like Jatiratnalu and Agent Athreya are stunners for the same reason.

Guess what, after the success of Anaganana Oka Raju at the Box Office, there was buzz that many Telugu directors are fearing to approach him. This is because he would be involved in the screenplay and dialogues of the movie, and Telugu filmmakers are not interested in any of that. However, while some insiders try to dismiss them as rumours, it looks like an ounce of that is actually true.

Reports are coming that after hearing the scripts of many Telugu directors and their conditions, Naveen has now made the decision to work with a Tamil filmmaker. They say that recently, Antony Bhagyaraj of Jayam Ravi’s Tamil crime thriller “Siren” fame has narrated a story to Naveen, and Mythri Movie Makers are likely to bankroll the project. But many are wondering, while Siren is a below-average film that didn’t do well at the Tamil box office, how come Naveen has agreed to do a film with that director?

Of course, even the likes of Lokesh Kanagaraj and others also made their debuts with average-grossing films only, and everyone knows how their second films turned out to be. Maybe Naveen is expecting a similar kick from the director.
