Not every star kid wants to chase camera flashes and movie sets. Some find their spark in oil, engines, and the smell of earth. Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda is one of them. While most celebrity kids dream of acting, Navya took a completely different turn, into tractors and farm machines. Yep, she’s all set to handle her family’s business instead of chasing film scripts.

Navya, daughter of Shweta Bachchan and businessman Nikhil Nanda, grew up in a mix of glamour and industry. Her father runs Escorts Kubota Limited, a major company that deals with agricultural equipment and tractors. In a recent chat, Navya said, “I grew up hearing about tractors at home. I can even fix one if needed. So why not take that ahead?” Her words sound honest and curious, not the usual PR-polished kind. Unlike many other star kids who jump into Bollywood, she’s quietly carving her own path, and people are actually loving this twist.

She still keeps a foot in fashion though, walking the L’Oreal ramp in Paris, doing shoots, and managing her YouTube channel. But her heart seems closer to business. She’s studying at IIM Ahmedabad, working for gender equality, and doing internships in her family company. Despite getting movie offers, she didn’t get pulled into the Bollywood whirlpool. Instead, she’s building something more solid.

Navya already holds a small share in her father’s company, worth around ₹7 crores, and she plans to grow within that world. For someone born in the Bachchan family, it’s brave to say no to fame and yes to tractors. While the rest of Bollywood’s star kids are busy posing for cameras, Navya’s busy learning how engines run, and maybe that’s the kind of story we need more of.
