Anil Ravipudi Reveals Funny Story Behind Nayanthara Saying Yes to the Film

The Sankranti release Manasankar Varaprasad has turned out to be a good success at the box office. The film received a positive response from audiences, and the makers are still continuing promotions even after the festival season. Director Anil Ravipudi is leading these promotions in his usual energetic style.

As part of the promotions, an interview was conducted with Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, and producer Surekha Konidela. During this interview, Chiranjeevi asked Anil Ravipudi an interesting question about casting Nayanthara in the film.

Chiranjeevi asked, "How did you convince Nayanthara to do this movie?"

Replying to this, Anil Ravipudi explained the entire process in a humorous way. He said, "When I first narrated the story to Nayanthara, she really liked it. But before that, producers Saahu and Surekha garu called her and set the platform." He added that only after that conversation did he personally talk to Nayanthara about the film and narrated the story.

Anil Ravipudi further said, "When I wrote the story, there was a scene where a girl had to stand in front of Chiranjeevi and point a finger at him. At that moment, I could only imagine Nayanthara. I did not think of any other heroine." He also mentioned that if any other actress had done the role, they would have missed something special in the movie.

He continued, "Nayanthara agreed to do the film because she liked the story and because Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh were part of it." However, later she called him with a doubt and asked, "What if I cannot do this film?"

To this, Anil Ravipudi replied jokingly, "If you don’t do it, I will just watch Venkatesh Drishyam and feel like I have never narrated you the story and I will go to sleep." Hearing this, Nayanthara laughed and said, "Okay, I am doing the film."
