At a time when Chiranjeevi films are also collecting ₹300 crores at the box office, one would easily expect that popular OTT platforms like Netflix and Amazon pay a terrific price for the OTT rights of his films. However, if the OTT pricing of Chiranjeevi's films is around the ₹40-50 cr range, it is Pawan Kalyan's films, OTT prices that are quite surprising, shocking, and exposing how the market value is actually created.

Sample this: Pawan Kalyan's upcoming film Ustaad Bhagat Singh was acquired by Netflix for a whopping ₹80 Crores if reports are to be believed. With #OG performing exceptionally on the platform during its digital release, it looks like Netflix doesn't want to go away from such a crowd puller easily. Some say that with Pawan Kalyan in the limelight always as a deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh. Surely his films will command a lot of attention from viewers in other languages also.

When it comes to Chiranjeevi's films, his audience is mainly limited to Telugu folks only. Perhaps that difference is being perceived in the offered OTT prices for the films of both these stars, who are also brothers. At the same time, these days OTT platforms are also putting a lot of conditions on even these bigger stars releasing release dates, and there’s no escape at the moment from that.
