Breaking: Netflix Buys Warner Bros For Nearly ₹7.8 Lakh Crore

It is already known that Netflix is a global leader when it comes to the international OTT entertainment scene and they have now ventured into theatrical space. The leading company has communicated that they have entered an agreement with Warner Bros for a complete acquisition prospect.

Today, Netflix has officially announced its acquisition of Warner Bros. for $82.7 billion. They have entered into a definitive agreement under which Netflix will acquire the studio, including its film and TV divisions, HBO Max and HBO.

The complete financial transaction in this regard roughly converts to ₹7.8 lakh crore. This happens to be one of the biggest ever deals in the history of global cinema, and Netflix were very ambitious with their effort.

Today’s announcement combines two of the greatest storytelling companies in the world to bring to even more people the entertainment they love to watch the most,” said WBD CEO David Zaslav.

Considering the fact that this is the first major step from Netflix towards the production, it has to be seen what kind of an impact this would have on the Warner Brothers production activities in the future. Needless to say, Netflix is acquiring one of the most legacy backed companies in the world and the responsibilities on them to keep the operation smooth.
