Netflix Expands to Hyderabad with a New 41,000 Sq Ft Office

Netflix which is one of the world’s biggest streaming platforms is expanding its footprint in India with a new office in Hyderabad. The company has leased a 41,000 square foot space in CapitaLand ITPH Block A located in the bustling Hitech City area.

Interestingly same building also houses the Warner Bros. Discovery office making it a key spot for the global entertainment industry in India.

This marks Netflix’s second office in India after Mumbai where it first began its operations. This new move focus on regional content especially in Telugu and other South Indian languages.

Over the past year, Netflix India has strengthened ties with leading Telugu actors and filmmakers. Several top stars including Chiranjeevi, Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Venkatesh, SS Rajamouli, Naga Chaitanya, Rana Daggubati and Dulquer Salmaan have met with Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos to discuss future collaborations and streaming opportunities.
